As well, he began writing the DC title Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis and wrote from issues 40-49. Kurt is currently the writer of Superman.
Work on some of Kurt's more challenging, less mainstream projects, most notably Astro City, has been repeatedly delayed by a series of severe sinus problems brought about by mercury poisoning. Joe Rubinstein

Joe emigrated to the U.S. from Israel when he was 5 years old. His American cousin had a bunch of comic books Joe was fascinated by. Lar deSouza

While he's been cartooning in a semi-professional fashion since 1990, Lar decided to begin the new millennium as a caricaturist. Since that decision he has had numerable opportunities arise. Party work, providing art for fund-raisers, corporate gigs, publication work and studio commissions are all projects in which he has enjoyed exercising his talents.
"I've always enjoyed portraiture and caricaturing,"says Lar from his home in Acton, Ontario (Canada). "I'm a little abashed at how long it took me to realize people would pay me to draw them though! Other people have delicate Grecian muses to whisper in their ears. Mine has to grab me by the scruff of the neck and shout in my face!"
Lar is hoping to find more print opportunities as well as more live venues once the warmer weather settles in. Lar has a lovely wife, two beautiful children and three tolerant cats. The wife and kids are tolerant too.
